Thys Vorster

Thys Vorster obtained his BCom (Hons) in Investment Management in 1990 and later completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning. He became a member of the JSE in 1999 and has held key roles in the financial sector, including Director at BOE Personal Stockbrokers, Regional Manager at BJM Private Client Services, and later at FNB Securities. In 2015, he co-founded ID Capital, where he serves as Executive Director and Chief Investment Officer, overseeing R1.8bn in managed assets. With decades of experience in investment management and financial planning, Thys remains dedicated to delivering strategic wealth solutions while maintaining a strong personal focus on family and a well-balanced lifestyle.
